Blessings for all of your work!
  The Bible contains many passages
to remind all believers that we are to
care for orphans.  One of our favorites
is Deuteronomy 24:19...
"When you bring in your harvest, if
you forget a sheaf in the field, don't
back again to get it.  Leave it there for
strangers, orphans, and widows that
the Lord your God may bless you in all
the works of your hands."
Paraphrased for today:  "If you have
some spare change, give it to
strangers, orphans, and widows, so
that the Lord your God may bless you
in all that you do!"
Thank you very much for allowing us to
visit with you today!
Although our name is "Big Family", we
are actually a rather small ministry that
takes the Light and Love of Jesus to
abused, abandoned, neglected orphans
in Russia and Eastern Europe.
What orphans need most is FAMILY!
Our Big Family goal for every orphan:
bring the child into a family... families on
earth... and God's eternal family in
heaven!
Being a small ministry allows us and
those who join with us to get personally
involved with orphans
and orphanages.  The need in Russia is great:  over 3 million orphans
and children at risk.  Most never have a chance for adoption.  Most face a
future of prison, violent death, drugs and alcohol abuse, prostitution.
We (Dianne and Ken) were called to minister to Russian orphans in
2001.  Although we have now traveled to Russia many times, we still
depend on volunteers from churches in Russia to be our "arms and legs"
that visit and hug and love God's special children in Russia's
orphanages.  Regular visits and forming friendships with responsible and
loving adults is very important to the children.
Big Family MIssion has no employees or paid staff in the U.S., and we
have one part-time employee in Russia.  We (Dianne and Ken) continue
to pay for the travel and administrative expenses of Big Family.  This
allows 100% of other donations to be used for mission projects and
ministry to orphans.
    What we do:
  • Provide funds for churches in Russia who visit with orphans on a
regular basis.  Funds are used to buy fruit, cake, other special
    treats, and birthday gifts.
  • Promote and support adoptions and foster families for Russian
orphans (in Russia and in the U.S.).
  • Donate craft items, children's Bibles, and basic necessities to
    orphanages.
  • Partner with and help support other Christian organizations who
minister to Russian orphans and help orphans get into families.
    Should you join with us?
  • If you have a heart for orphans and wish to join us in this vital
ministry, we invite you to become a part of our Big Family.
  • To learn more about the children and orphanages where we are
serving in Russia, please complete the form on this page and
submit it.  You will then be provided a link to our "photo and
introduction" page where you can meet some of the children who
    need our help.
  • Big Family is organized as a mission society, qualifying for 501(c)(3)
status, and we have Christians from different churches and
    denominations who work with us.
  • We look forward to meeting you through your completion of the
information form on this page.  We value the confidentiality of your
information, and will not share it with anyone.
  • We need financial gifts to keep our work in Russia funded, but
prayers and personal commitment to God's work in Russia are what
we are looking for in those who wish to partner with us.

God bless you for allowing us to visit with you today!  We look
    forward to hearing from you!
